The final value E is calculated from the basic value G and the growth factor q using the following formula:

Example 1:

Given:
      basic value G = 150
      percentage p% = 2.5%
                    = 0.025

Example 2:

Given:
 percentage value W = -120
    growth factor q = 0.95

results:
      basic value G = 2400
      percentage p% = -5%
                    = -0.05
